Fixed gear/ single speed is very big in Japan. It’s not uncommon to see fixie chicks riding around Tokyo. Love their style with a Japanese twist…
The word on the street’s was that there was 3 fixed gear riders who scaled the Skyway bridge in St.pete,Florida.. For people who don’t know.. this would be a very large bridge that is 193 high, and 5miles long.. This video has posted on youtube.. All we have to stay, dont believe it til ya see it.. and well here it is! Totally sick.. and congrats to you mystery riders
I’ve hear of Jadoo Shop but I never knew they made keychains. These keychains look pretty rugged and I love their simple yet stylish design. If you want to take a chance and try ordering some, email to contact@minigorille.com .

White and red color scheme on fixed gear bikes is one of my favorites setups so I was very excited to learn that fixed gear track bike brand Red You R Dead finally opened up their new showroom location in L.A. The company was started by Blake Coburn and Patrick Winget a little over two years ago. Their custom model “Masher” starts at $599.00 which is not bad. If red/white is not your cup of tea, they will do custom powder coat for about $26.00

Another bike that caught our attention at an InterBike show was Asian inspired: The OX from Independent Fabrication. I think this is probably one of the best looking bikes out there. Unfortunately upon further inquires we found out that this is only a concept bike and not a full production bike. Too bad… though would be interesting to see somebody else repeating this color scheme on their fixie.
Well… looks like everybody now jumping on a cool bike bandwagon nowadays. As of October 2009, Cooper cars company (that’s right, same company that gave us mini cooper), launched a new bicycle division and introduced their new bike lineup from T100 to T200 bike collections. New bikes will be available in January of 2010 and will feature aggressive track design. For more info check out the cooperbike site
Fyxation debuted its urban line of fixed-gear components at Interbike 2009, including its US$49 Session 700 tires, saddles, and pedals. New Session 700 tires are available in green, black, orange, white and pink, blue, red, black and brown. Inspired by 20″ freestyle tires, these skins are designed for the urban rider that demands traction, puncture resistance and unbeatable performance. Also, all Fyxation saddles are color matched to the tires. Saddles themselves are based on 70’s and 80’s design and built with riveted leather uppers and with an anatomic cutaway underneath to relieve undercarriage pressure. In addition to Fyxation display, Hold Fast FRS displayed their foot retention system straps, made in Brooklyn New York. For more info check out their sites: Fyxation and Hold Fast FRS

Though it was really hot that day, lots of people showed up on all kinds of bikes. There were games of polo going on, some BMX riders showing off, nice track and road bikes plus some interesting characters with crazy looking bikes. For full gallery click here
