Here is another great bike collaboration, this time by Look and Lacoste. We have no technical specs yet, but it looks like this bike has a belt drive instead of chain. Hmm… never tried one of those. We do like this ghost bike look we’ve seen around U.S. Rumor is that this bike will be released around Spring 2011.
We wrote while back about a belt drive bike and seems like there are more and more of those popping up in Europe. Here is one from Schindelhauer. Nice clean white design, but again… I do have a weakness for a white bike. Gates carbon belt drive looks intriguing, also, quick switch from fixed to single speed is a plus. I wonder if belt drive feels any different from the regular chain setup. So far these type of bikes are pretty expensive since tech of it is still pretty new.
