Bella Ciao Componenti Speciali Bars

Bella Ciao just launched their Componenti Speciali bars designed for UK market. The bars are made of aluminium 7075 each being meticulously hand polished, resulting in a subtle shine effect surface; very similar to the vintage Cinelli or TTT classic stems and bars. Ignoble Mona Cocoon Backpack

There is a new backpack on a market from Ignoble. Though it is their first-ever backpack, we do love the design and shape of it. This backpack sold as Mona Cocoon Backpack and is constructed from ultra-durable, ultra-sleek materials, with a 230t nylon exterior, YKK branded nylon zipper closures and nylon herringbone trim. The bag is lined and features padded straps, a padded airmesh back, a front vertical stash-pocket, a small hood stash-pocket, and a large main compartment with internal hanging-pocket and book-sleeve. We didn’t get a chance to get our hands on this nice looking backpack but it does have some impressive specs and a nice design.

Bike crushes into a car during bicycle race

Nice parking job, though why the heck this road wasn’t closed for a bike race I have no idea. I do not speak Spanish, but I did hear word “puta” being thrown around right after the accident.

Chopper style fixed gear?

I guess this is the next development in the fixed gear bikes. Looks like a German company called riot-cycles makes this custom fixed gear chopper look alike. Here is more on their Facebook.

1000 Bikes Foundation

The 1000 Bikes Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to putting a bike in the hands of 1000 foster youth and their families in communities across the United States. The 1000 Bikes Foundation is more than just a charity; it is a movement that creates a treadmark in every city it rides through. The 1000 Bikes Foundation was established in April 2010 by Michael Bowers, a New York native who grew up in various foster homes. An avid biker and cycling enthusiast, Mike, or CoolAssMike as he is know in riding circles, had participated in “rides” throughout California, New York and Miami for years. For more info check out their site and Facebook page.
