Japanese company Kaostem Productions will be releasing new these cool kaostems spring 2010 to the market. So far no pricing but I wouldn’t mind picking up couple of these.

In the summer of 2009, 13 cyclists from Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco took their fixies to the Land of the Rising Sun for an ambitious undertaking: A 350-mile tour from Tokyo to Osaka. Their goal (along with survival) was to experience a more intimate kind of travel and make a documentary of their adventure. After watching these videos… I want to do this type of trip so bad…. Fixed gear/ single speed is very big in Japan. It’s not uncommon to see fixie chicks riding around Tokyo. Love their style with a Japanese twist…

Japanese did it again. First its crazy shows now this, though I do dig Asian chicks on bikes.

Two thieves on a motor-scooter flew by and snatched a womans purse on a street in Wenzhou, China. Surveillance video shows a man riding a bicycle. As he was passing by the front of a hotel near where the thievery happened, he stopped, calmly got off his bicycle, picked it up, and then threw it at the thieves. The bicycle hit them, they lost control, and crashed to the ground.
This was such a hilarious video, and pure justice..

We love fixed gear and we love fixed gear chicks. Nothing hotter than a fixie girl. So during our researches of various events all over the world we come to realize there was a big fixed gear girl movement in Taiwan. So here are some pics from Taiwan. Well… the world as we know is coming to an end. Korean toy maker and customizer Coolrain designed 12 inch toy figures for Korean retailer Kasina. Toy design based on fixed gear/skate street fashion. So,”cheesy thumbs up”, get your own toy!!!

W-Base Bicycle Garage in Tokyo just celebrated their 5 year anniversary this weekend. Here is a party video they put together for the anniversary celebration. About 20 min long.
