Nike Duece.. bring it on Vans!
Nike has had such a success in the skate shoe business.. they are going after Van’s now. They have release the Nike Duece and Van “style” shoe for women… Soon I bet they will release a guys version, only time will tell. I personally think that Nike shouldn’t try to conquer every style out there, to me it makes them turn into a Walmart brand.

The duece reminds me of old school Keds.. I’m not feeling the stripe across the middle of the shoe.. take that off and I’ll think about it.
Thanks to KickonFire for the release info..
AdidasxHypebeastxBianchi Colab..
Adidas hooked up with Bianchi and Solebox to come up with a super limited edition series of shoes that are only being sold @ HYPEBEAST.COM.

Here is the break down..
To help usher in their all-new cycling-inspired footwear offering, the Zeitfrei, adidas has teamed up with both ourselves and Solebox for the launch of the all the new cycling-themed shoe. From a technical standpoint, the Zeitfrei features low-profile construction. Various technical elements have been incorporated into the shoe’s design knowing full well the necessary traits that riders require every time they set out into the streets. The shoe’s perforated upper allows for ventilation in addition to having a reflective layer beneath to allow for a minimalistic and subdued yet functional design, which can offer performance properties when required. The same reflective material is also seen ever so slightly hidden via mesh on the heel. Additional reflective materials are seen on the embossed heel logo and as a stripe around the foxing band. The laces can be neatly and safely tucked away into a neoprene pocket which also houses the logos for both Hypebeast and Solebox. In this particular release, the suede tongue features a laser-etched number to denote the shoe’s particular place among the 100 total pairs produced. The outsole features two distinct treads while the forefoot design allows for improved pedal feel and grip. Rounding out the innovation is a design which offers the conventional look of vulcanized construction with the added rigidity and comfort of a cupsole. The relatively stiffer outsole of the Zeitfrei offers a good compromise between performance and everyday comfort and wearability.
While the Solebox version was launched last weekend, we will launch our version on Friday, May 29th at http://store.hypebeast.com. Our retail package includes a cycling cap, Cordura messenger bag (the bag may appear slightly different for color in a lighter tone) and a carry-all sling bag. Only 50 pairs will be available for retail with another 50 pairs being sent to friends & family. In terms of fit, the shoes are true to size.
The special one of a kind Bianchi bicycles will be made available for showing throughout Bianchi outlets following the sale of the shoes. At the conclusion of the tour, the bikes will be auctioned off for charity.

Nike Sportwears Tiempo “The Cutters” Pack
Developed specifically for the Nike Sportswear LIVESTRONG Collection, the footwear design team looked at the Nike Tiempo, first launched through the Soccer category, and enhanced the shoe with key elements to work with today’s inner city bike rider. Developed in partnership with eight bike riders from around the globe, the Nike City Tiempo was constructed with a board last, a process referencing ACG’s history. The board last translates into a stiffer construction, making the pushdown of the pedal stroke easier on the rider. Throughout the construction of the shoe, the designers have increased the density of the rubber and the derometer. Inside the shoe, the sockliner has been updated to also be a bit stiffer, giving support to the foot.

The upper of the shoe mirrors the look of the original Tiempo, however has been updated with a tougher leather to last through the wear and tear the cages on the pedals may cause. The City Tiempo pack includes eight colorways inspired by the iconic yellow of LIVESTRONG.
Each color represents a different rider and their respective city. The eight riders include; Kyle Demers from New York City, Jupiter Desphy from Los Angeles, Superted from London, Takaharu “Hal” Okada from Tokyo, Yorgo Tloupas representing Paris, Berlin’s Henrik Kuerschner, Massan from San Francisco, and Lance Armstrong representing his hometown of Austin.
Here we present you the Nike Sportswear Livestrong City Tiempo line-up that you will see release this month, with the following four colorways coming later this summer
