Driver mows down cyclists

Be warned… graphic video inside. Critical mass event Porto Alegre Braszil cut short when a driver mows down bunch of cyclists on purpose with his car. I hope he gets shot by a cop for that. I don’t care what you think about cyclists but this was uncalled for.

Bike Polo at Tampa Twilight Criterium

Bike Polo at Tampa Twilight Criterium – sponsored by 66fixed.

What is it:

Bikes will replace cars on downtown streets Saturday for the Tampa Twilight Criterium, a fast bicycle race held on a short, urban course. Organizers promise speed, excitement and even some blood. Unlike long-distance stage races, spectators get to see riders zoom by dozens of times during each race. The Tampa Downtown Partnership organized the event to help bring life to downtown on the weekends. Now in its second year, the multirace event is expected to draw 3,000 to 4,000 spectators. For more info see the flyer or check out the event site.
